Home Depot
« on: September 15, 2015, 12:08:37 AM »
I went to Home Depot in Ft Myers, Florida the other day and guess what I found. Six Pitombas for sale in 3 gallons for $36.98. Not bad looking trees. I couldn't resist and went back a week later and bought one. They still had the same six trees. They had some real nice 15 gallon and up citrus and even a macadamia tree in a 15gal. By far the best looking and best selection of fruit trees I've seen at a home Depot. Their prices are a bit higher then I remembered but I never expected to see pitombas!

It is labeled as pitomba or something else? I know we can get Home Depot to ship miracle fruit over from FL. So I'm wondering what else they have on their website they can ship.

We have macadamia seedlings of cate here in CA HD.

I actually saw a few green sugar apple trees at a Walmart the other day in the Ft. Myers area. The prices weren't great there either, but still it was exciting to see that in aa big box store.

i bought 2 guava from Home Despot 2 months ago.
They were $3 each on sale.
an Asian red (i cant remember if it said Maylay red, or ?)
and a Mexican White.
they were in what i think were 2 gallon containers, and busting at the seams.
i planted them, and they are huge now, in just 2 months, already have 2 small fruits each.
