Adam, em portugues,Doce = sweet, in englishI have an eugenia pyriformis that is called "Uvaia Doce", in Brasil. It has not fruited yet, and the leaves are very small like the one you show on the third photo down.
Do you think this is E. pyriformis? I was told it was E. myrcianthes, but it fits the description of pyriformis.http://plant.daleysfruit.com.au/ml/eugenia-myrcianthes-tropical-apricot-4463.jpegAre those really the same species Adam? looks like you have a E. pseudonnona and E. pseudoboticaba on your hands there!
Adam , you removed ( edited ) your pics from JULY 27 2012 , I must have missed this post ....can you post them again ?I have several E. pyriformis ( 5 ) one of them is sweet , I don't see any difference in the leaves . They are starting to flower now .
Adam: This photo of yours looks very similar to my ubajay (hexachlamis edulis)http://postimg.cc/image/wqhvldjq1/("Seedling E. pyriformis (large leaf type, not sure of the proper varietal name)")
