New mango acquisition
« on: June 11, 2016, 11:48:55 AM »
I think I'm the first guy on my block to have a Zill Indochinese* mango tree.
Please don't hate me for being bountiful.

*sometimes known as ZINC  or  ZIC

Sorry.....the image is upright on my PC, but not here.

Nice acquisition Dan. Remember to keep me in mind for any existing trees you elect to put up for adoption so it can take their place  :D

Joe, I found it at Truly Tropical, in Delray Beach. Their tree list is on their web site.

Alex,   I'd offer you Jacqueline, which is going to be cut down. But she's a good 20 feet tall and 4 feet in circumference.........  :'(

Glad to hear they do well in California  :)

I don't know yet how they compare to other cultivars regarding disease resistance in Florida's humidity; I definitely enjoy the flavor.
