Salak presentation at HTFG, Hilo

Just a notice to any big island growers, I will be doing a presentation on salak & my recent visit to Indonesia at the next Hawaii Tropical Fruit Growers meeting in Hilo on October 31st from 6-8 pm.

On Halloween????

What kind of treats will you provide?!  Ha ha ha.  J/k.  Sounds interesting. Wish I was in Hilo to attend.

I didn't intentionally pick Halloween, I think maybe our agent over at CTAHR has a sense of humor.  I will be bringing some treats, though -- salak chips, dried salak, and durian chips.

wife's friend came back from bali and gave us salak trips as omiyage.  was pretty darn good!
