Selling: Duguetia lanceolata seeds [Sold out]
« on: November 30, 2016, 06:33:21 PM »
Hi, this is my first post here.
I'm in contact with a friend who have a Duguetia lanceolata tree in his farm here in Brazil. We are monitoring the fruits development and possibly I will have seeds availabe in January 2017.

So, if you are looking for it, please, get in touch by PM.

Now we have a lot of little fruits growing in the tree.

Thanks!

Hi,

How much for seeds?
The hardest plants to grow are often those most worth growing.

How big do these trees get? How big is the tree you're getting these seeds from?

Thanks.

The tree we are following has 8 meters high. According to Harri Lorenzi, this species can get 15 to 20 meters high.

Empty (floating) seeds discarded. Selected for sale only viable seeds. Take care of the small details to achieve the expected result.

Sometimes I see people reporting that they have not been successful in germinating annonas or duguetias. Yesterday I had a surprise, 3 seeds of Duguetia lanceolata that I have kept in moist medium for 11 months beginning to germinate. It is even possible to observe green moss due to storage time. It seems to me that people need to have more patience with the duguetias.

I was having a clean up and seeds that never germinated, Duguetia, Annona and various other things within a 6 month period I through in the garden with the potting mix and all.  Now as I am raking leaves off the paths there are small Annonaceae seedlings popping up in the garden everywhere.  Now I have to dig them up and try to ID whats what.....LOL
