Hi,
Had this nice surprise the other day, when I noticed the first flowers on my C. canito.
Can I aspire to have my first fruits, too? Or, does it share its cousins reluctance in setting fruit for the
first few years?
Luc, I believe I got the seeds from you!!! Thanks again...
Great Sergio !!!! You are talking about the Chrysophyllum cainito - Caimito , right ? Here they fruit fast and small ( at 3 to 4 years ) I hope the tree is from the big round fruits ( have 2 varieties in the purple , my green has not fruited yet ..strange...!! ) anyway the taste is the same... just a lot bigger fruit.
I am also still waiting for the C. argenteum - auratum to start ....
Considering your climate I must say ....good job and congratulations , keep your fingers crossed for a few fruits.
