Are you the seedseller from Costa Rica and in Thailand now?

Is namdocmai better than mango in costa rica or not?

Tropical fruits like atemoya and nam doc mai are expensive over here. Carrefour sells them at $13/kilo in Dubai and other Gulf region.

Yes, we left Costa Rica.
Nam Dok Mai is legendary, the sweetest Mango I’ve ever tasted and doesn’t have fibers.
It is very special, and one of my favourites❤️

Mango's are not so good now, you should eat them in April and May....after soo much sunshine.

HOLD Up.  I respect your business and all but its a shame you are marketing A SEED as a specific variety even though it is poly.  What if people start grafting their seeds from you and marketing them as NDM?  Have you thought about the affect of this and the damage it could cause on down the line?  Misrepresenting a seedling for an actual variety is irresponsible and you should make it much more clear in your marketing/descriptions that they are just NDM seeds and will never be an true NDM.  I have a feeling the people you are marketing to probably don't realize this.

As far as I know they will be true to type, as they are a clone of the mother tree.
Please link scientific information if I am wrong.

Seeds are not “clones” of the parent tree.  “Clones” can be achieved through various means of propagation ie. grafting, airlayers, cuttings, tissue, but never through seed germination.  I am no scientist but this is very basic biology/botany/horticulture.  You should do your own research by using the search function on TFF.

I did my research before I posted and I found it fascinating. I also planted Nam Doc Mai seeds and saw as the first, biggest, most purple plant with the biggest leaves is very different from the others.
I love seeds and I respect Nature. In my knowledge and experience a grafted tree will never be as strong and big as a tree grew from seed. Trees from seed live longer too.

So is your Nam Doc Mai variety poly-embryonic seed type that will grow true to mother tree?
