In the next few days we’ll have a better idea if this will affect us or not.

Florence is nowhere near land and not expected to ever make landfall. It's turning north and heading into the cooler waters of the north Atlantic where it will fade away harmlessly.

While nothing is set in stone this far out, you may want to rethink (and retract) that statement...

That's the only thing you can be sure of, "it's early days". At present it's running into unfavourable conditions and will weaken for a while. Then conditions become more favourable and there'll be re-intensification. After that is too far ahead to guess, and it's still well off the coast. But nothing wrong with being prepared.

Currently 60% chance Bermuda will see tropical storm force (winter storms often blow harder than that.). 30% for 50knots. 10-20% for hurricane force. It is predicted to be a major storm as it passes by, maybe Cat 4.

Projected path Drifting south of us, currently predicting 330 miles at closest point.  SC and NC staring at a Cat 4 though.

No choice but to go with the Flo. Those Atlantic Hurricanes sure make their presence felt way out of the tropics.
