Mangos available right now in Goa

They called this one Tato Peri:

I think this one is Neelam:

Both were totally stringless, but with kind of a strong taste, a little bit turpentiney to my palate.

That Neelam looks bigger than the way Neelam usually is in Florida.

I believe Totapuri was the same mango as 'Sandersha', from which the Brooks line of Florida mangoes is descended (Brooks, Keitt, Kent, Zilate, others).

I thought the same about the Neelam being bigger than the ones from my own tree, but going back to fruit stand i noticed i had just picked out the biggest ones, and there were plenty of smaller ones.  ;)

Mangos are very popular here but i missed peak season, which i guess starts here around March. But still Neelam and Tato Peri (or Sandersha) seem to be producing way off season.
