Be still my beating heart. Mr. Cherimoya is actually ranking an atemoya over the mighty cherimoya?  I'm shocked, absolutely shocked I tell you!   ;D

So what variety are we looking at here Frank?

Cherimoya killers

you would be negligent if you don't grow these different anonas in Orange County they preform better here than south Florida

Hey Frank, how is the Acid balance on these two varieties? Do they have similar acidity to Cherimoya? The Annona Rosada at your moms house was absolutely stunning! Thanks,

Simon

Simon, forget all other references you have with moyas rosada taste like raspberry cheese cake and LHS taste custard,  sweet a bit grainy like the best sugar apple you ever had.
and here is a pix for those who think you ca't grow any thing other than a good tasty moya in our climate.

Thanks for the info Frank, they both sound like winners. Looks like I’ll have some grafting to do next year. Please reserve me several scions of each when available.

Yes, and i think you mentioned there were very few cherimoyas grown in Australia? Could that be why you favor atemoya?  :D

Been checking out your recent photos and must ask, does the La Habra Sun have ANY seeds?  Really looks nice.
