Hello Oscar,
What is you favorite fruit from Pouteria ?
Pouteria is a large genus with lots of species. I've only had a very few, but of the ones i've had i'd say my favorite is moist type of lucuma. I also like the Ross sapote and the Phillipine pointed canistel.
Just wanted to add a note about A. odoratissimus: I've lost several of my seedlings now (hopefully not all). At first I thought it was just a fluke but after it happened to several I did a root check. Root color: Brown. Aka, possible root rot. Since most of my seedlings are treated in the same manner and are fine (including jackfruit), I can only conclude that A. odoratissimus looks to be more sensitive to root rot than most .
Just wanted to pass that on.
My mameys now...everything is growing so fast!

Artocarpus hypargyraeus (kwai muk)
Kwai muk bears abundant, plum-sized fruits that have a sweet, citrusy taste. Reportedly cold hardy to around 26F.
No, I missed that thread - thanks! Definitely let us know how it compares to Forastero.
And thanks for the link, EvilFruit! Looks like I've got a new seed order to make, haha Any experience with that seller?
