Hi friends,
Really thanks if anyone could advise me the ID for this fruit.
It is a kind of wild jungle vine in the north of Vietnam.
They call it Quả Máu (Blood Fruit) or Máu Chó (Dog's Blood Fruit).

I've just received Eugenia Patrisii and Garcinia madruno seeds package from Victoria today.
The seeds are still very fresh in the wet white sand. Some Garcinia madruno seeds begin to sprout.
Hope they will germinate well.

Yes, they also called "Chim Chim" and some other names such as "Chuối chác dẻ", "Nhãn chày",...
Luckily, I've just found the ID for this fruit: Dasymaschalon rostratum Merr. et Chun.

Hi DeeMango,
Yes Vietnamese name for this fruit is "Chùm Chày". They often collected wild in the middle of Vietnam together with "Dủ Dẻ" (Melodorum siamense / Rauwenhoffia siamensis Scheff) as in the pictures.
But I don't know the ID of "Chùm Chày".

Hi Mike,
The position I place the seedlings just have some direct sun in the morning. They are in the shade after 10AM.

Just add the pictures with a ruler, Suriname cherry is between miracle fruits and peach. Please check the size of the Suriname cherry and advise me if this is the big fruit form or not?

I think green sapote is out of season now, so it's really hard to get fresh seeds now.
If you want to buy seedlings, you can search on ebay.
There's a seller name safenut in hawaii still have some seedlings for sale.
I also buy one seedling from him and it's very healthy.
