Blessed Merry Christmas, everyone! :)

Greeting from Madeira!
Time is like a river.
You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.
Enjoy every moment of your life!

Merry Christmas, I wish a fruitful year for all of you guys.

Question...

Sorry for my ignorance but, What do you guys do in Christmas ? Do you guys have a fancy dinner with your families ? or go to church ?

There is much variation in religous beliefs and activities, including none.  It is fairly universal thst wrapped gifts are exchanged and large meal, with family and friends.

Here we open presents and have a big meal on Christmas Eve, laze around on Christmas Day and Second Christmas, visiting family and friends when time allows. Oh and before all that is Ţorláksmessa when people who can tolerate the smell eat rotten skate.

I have heard of some people being into S&M but I had no idea that they also were into growing/selling/eating lychees as part of the experience. I'll have to re-think my previous avoidance of such interests.  ;)

On Christmas we always make Tírimisu first, Tírimisu is an italian desert that is very delicious,

After that I help my Mom make the Lasagna

Then we eat and have Tírimisu after!

Typically, we spend Christmas Eve day together, share a meal, attend a candlelight service, then open one gift before bed. In the morning the kids dive into their stockings, shred the rest of the wrapping paper and demolish any sort of packaging or boxes anywhere in sight. It's pure holiday chaos. Wouldn't have it any other way. ^_^

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
