dragon fruit planting
« on: May 25, 2019, 11:45:30 PM »
I bought 13 cuttings from 4-5 types of dragon fruits about 3 months ago,
I was going to bury a 6" x 6" post and place 4 on each post and was wondering if I should mix the types?
I have 5 sugar dragons and could put 4 on one post or I could mix them with
with the others? I plan on putting 3 posts in the ground in one area.

THANKS

I dont have direct experience with, but some could be more vigorous than the other. I suppose that you could put a permanent mark of some type (paint?, tags?, engraving?) before to mix it Just in case some variety starts overshadowing the less vigorous ones.

When mixing, plant types that do not look the same or you will not be able to tell whats what when they get large.  Better to plant same ones together if possible.
