I bought some seedlings from Nattyfrootz on here and they are in the ground here in SoCal 9b and they are growing pretty well. I have some in dappled shade and others in full sun and they are both doing about the same.
Apparently they are good down to zone 7b, so I am excited to have a plant I don't need to worry about too much re: winter.
From what I hear, the fruit isn't all that much to write home about but it's very aesthetic and so that's why I'm excited to grow them. So far they are easy.
