Here are some jabos I ran across while in Brazil - could use some help identifying them.
Store bought fruit.
1 kilo. Guessing there were a couple of varieties. All were very dark in color. Some had thick skin and others were very thin.
Uncle's tree
Had a couple of flowers only. He had no idea what variety
Aunt's tree #1
Had a couple of flowers only. Fruit has a stem. New growth is red.
Aunt's tree #2
Distinctly different. More flowers. Fruit has no stem and not perfectly round.
Restaurant tree
Fruit was red, very tasty, very thin skin.
Roadside nursery
Trees were 10-12' tall, very little flowering. Was told they were all sabara.
