Please help ID these two Jaboticabas

Prince of Plinia? Anyone?

I have two small jabos (approx 3.5 -4 ' tall).  Not sure which variety they are and if they are the same.  Any help would be appreciated as I plan to add more soon and also want to get nametags made for them.

Don't be pessimistic , I would say another 4 years ...or sooner , mine took 8 ( in Mexico )

those trees look like they are already about 3-4 yrs old...u could get fruits in the next 3-5yrs.

make sure to start pruning them now

Also, would that be a good opportunity to graft, say, a red hybrid scion from a fruiting tree, onto them?  If so, I will be placing an order with a reputable company I've heard of called "Flying Fox Fruits"

its simple really..

u r trying to encourage the oldest thickest branches to become thicker, and less shaded, by smaller branches.

so remove a bunch of the smaller branches, so the older branches have more light exposure.

I appreciate the kind words about my nursery! but honestly i wouldn't graft onto these trees....unless you want to make a project out of one of them...i suppose you could graft on a bunch of varieties, or just top work the tree with a different variety.

Okay, you've convinced me to leave these two alone.  They were meant to be specimen trees.  As I get older, I find delayed gratification is less gratifying.

The search is now on for a fruiting red hybrid.  And Champas is sold out til next year.  Must.  Have.  Jabo Fruit. Now.

FYI the "Tropical Fruit Trees" nursery in Vista grows a lot of Sabara and they have a relatively large one in the ground so you can always take a look at their trees and take fruit from the in-ground one when available if you just want to remind yourself what the fruit is like.

Give thanks. These 2 Jaboticaba are different from each other and both look very different from my 2 Grimal's. I'm realizing a tape measure or something for size perspective is very helpful to help ID , as these close ups make the leaves look much longer.
