headlines: a big plastic bottle without bottom top a small one filled with water.Evaporartion in the sun will provide droplets.

Nice little article, a DIY solar still that gives drip irrigation from sea water and brackish water. Could make a custom system with more robust solar stills and an automated brackish/salt water refill.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

well, they said it can also work with salty / brackish water but might be easier using rain harvested one.
