Pickering and Pina Colada starting to bloom.

The last cold snap has caused one of my Pickering and my Pina Coloda trees to bloom already here in Merritt island. It seems a little early and I wander if any fruit would make it through the rest of the season or should I just cut off any fruit that might set and hope they bloom again in the spring?

I've hear that some pickering trees fruit twice per year. That may be the case here.

Strange, I have a tiny plant that is seriously stressed (I intend to dig it out and replace) that seems to be putting out bloom as well.
I thought it was the stress.
I will still dig it out though, way too young and small to be holding fruit.

The fruit should hold on if the tree is large enough and in good health. I've got numerous Edward, Rosigold, Rosa, and Dwarf Hawaiian ( Tete Nene) trees blooming along with Jean Ellen, Florigon, Carrie, Ah Ping and others sending out some bloom as well.
