Does anyone have achachairu seeds now?

Hi puzzle5112,

I would try these two places in Puerto Rico:

Govardhan Gardens - www.organicfarm.net
Vivero Anones - www.viveroanones.com

Hi Puzzle5112,

I have a few seedlings I might be willing to trade if you are interested?

Currently, I have 2 version of the "Achachairu":
     1) Garcinia 'vleerackerii' - Luc's Limoncello
     2) Garcinia sp. - Achachairu Fruits from Australia

Both of these produce excellent Fruit.

What seeds or seedlings do you have available?

Jacob

Achachairu seems to be an unamed species according to past threads and so is Lucs but they are different from each other.Luc posted a pic of the 2 together.

Yes that is right Mike. Luc's plant is not a version of achachairu. Luc's plant is from Mexico and achachairu is from Bolivia. Both of these remain unnamed species but probably unrelated species given huge distances from place of origin in the wild.
