I really dont kno we have four diffrent kinds along the back fence for a butterfly garden they look so great full of all kinds life but this one is the only one that has no flowers thta i can tell and we dug it up from a friend that has some old very large ones, the other three where bought
They have both been in pots for over 8 months! Thx for the info!! so the lychee should get more direct sun? I water a bit evryother day is taht to much onlt a gallon or so? it looked do great 10 moths ago the poof no leaves. so water sun and stop looking at it is the best way to get a reward from it? I really appreciate your comments and will follow them until it recoveres or gets worse.
edwards, southern blush, Rutledge, Austin, are all very good but on the island the farm where i frequent planted maybe 7-10 new varieties (many from the far east area) i cant spell and remember exactly the names but for sure good things to come from the Ensey farm!!!!
i just started to see blooms all over my avocado that was started 16yrs ago from seed what are the chances i get fruit?? I here a lot of different things so anyone who can clear this up would be nice
Well unfortunatly Ive only had Brewster, Mauritius , and sweetheart but I enjoy the Mauritius best maybe because the pit is smaller(Chx tongue) and their is more flesh but i could have it mixed up so I vote
Thx for the info guys, Im growing these in order to make a sponge/luffa for showers and so on...... not to eat anymore info would be great if anyone is growing these for the reason I am
Hi all I have a good friend that is growing these plants that look a whole lot like a cucumber, and I was hoping that someone in this forum had advice for growing theses I'm central FL (viera). Any info would be great?....
Very tru the Osteen grows well and is a heavy yeilder little to no fiber good sive fruit the only thing on Merrit Island is that they have to complete with other mangoes that are much more appealing to the eye (Kent, VP, Sunset, Keitt, and a few others on the farm) thats may be the only reason their not more popular for commercial viability. Just an Ugly looking Mango
Ohhhhhhh! The Rutledge those are Prime morsels of nature candy Only 2 trees on the farm but well worth the wait and knowing when they become ripe just had one yesterday and it was so nice!
Hi, is this farm north of Pineda causeway? I work some days at the Ensey farm south of Pineda and always would send ppl up north when we run out of lychee except this year not manynuts for anyone on the island Anyway just never been to this farm if it's the one I'm thinking of
Sry all those RPs and ODs are not available for cuttings or anything else I spoke with farm owner and it was a big neg. Once again sry to get Anyones hopes up. Those trees are trees that we can not find any where but on our farm and she would like to keep it that way. If they were mine I would LOVE to trade and bring these rare trees to others but not my call. SRY!!
