My Mangoes growing in the AZ desert
« on: August 16, 2018, 10:09:22 PM »
These are my 3 mango trees growing in my backyard.  I am pretty proud of how they look without me exactly knowing what I am doing.  The first variety is Israeli Red ( I have no information on this variety.  I purchased it as a seedling from a local nursery.  If I had already joined the group, I don't think I would have bought a no name variety.  But, now I don't have the heart to take it out because it has been such a strong, carefree grower.)  The second one is madame Francis, I
Recently cut it and you can see the branches coming out, and the final one is cotton candy.  All 3 have at least been through one winter and the cotton candy had bloomed in the spring.  Hopefully I will be getting fruit in the next couple of years!!

Nice growth on your trees so far. If you find out you do t like the taste or production from any of your varieties, you can always top work the tree with better varieties.
