Can I still fertilize with unripe fruit on the tree?
« on: January 10, 2019, 05:30:55 PM »
Here in SE GA Z9a, Our young Ruby Red grapefruit had a late blossom last year, and set about 10 grapefruits. They are still small and green, and months away from being ripe. Normal fertilizing time, in-ground and foliar, is just around the corner. Can I fertilize normally with the fruit still on the tree?  Thanks,   Ed

Ditto.  My Star Ruby grapefruit are still on the tree but I am planning on my low biurette spray this weekend on all my citrus.  Moro blood orange and ujukitsus and Meyers are still full of fruit so we will see..
