People have been curious about Florida Haas and those are the only Florida Haas avocado photos on the internet. Those Daisy and Florida Haas photos were just taken? Both look 3-4 weeks away from ripe enough to eat

TREESNMORE----

Daisy fruits look great. Just for convenience of quick cutting into circle shapes for the dinner plate as a garnish. Due to its elongated shape you will get more circular slices out of it. It would be a winner. Sell those for $3-$5 each in NY and DC where money is no object

The photos were taken today so what does it look like? 3-4 weeks is my guess for Florida Haas and the Daisy

I have 'FL Hass.' They are ripe now. Plus, there are still a lot on the tree.

My FL Hass still holding on in the tree. Took one off to see. This is my first year with FL Hass.  Does anyone know if they change color or they stay green?

They stay green. We left some on the tree last year to long(past oct) and they get lumpy little hard spots in the fruit

Avocados need salt to bring out the flavor. Best way to get salt into them to take a soft but firm avocado, cut into crude large chunks, put in bowl and put in two tablespoon salt water and swirl around. Let penetrate for 5 minutes. Do not mash them!!!

To make salt saturated water for cooking purposes put sea salt (Frontier coarse is good) at bottom of a bottle and add just enough good water to dissolve it. Just enough. As far as sodium this will be about twice as salty as soy sauce
