Breeding techniques (pollination) for select fruit species.

Would love to get a discussion going on selective breeding techniques used for fruit crossing and hybridizing

Amongst others I'm starting to cross some mango and Nephilium species, but new to these genera flowers.

I'd love to learn more about this as well. I have a crazy idea to try to breed robust ornamental cacao, and while it's one thing to come across a paper saying hybrids (including with Herrania) are known, it's another to actually do it.
Just some crazy trying to build an indoor Theobromatae collection in the northern US
