Can someone ID these bananas?

I couldn't find the original post because it's not here, it's in the other place ;D here is how they turned out ....kind of ashy looking huh? but they taste good.

They look like manzano bananas.

You are right Alexi but they don't taste like manzanos. They are an unknow banans that I got them from a coworker who got the tree from dude that said they were from Thailand. I have a post in the GW with a pic of the tree.

Manzano have very thin skin, this look to have thicker. by coincidence, the bunch I got last week that I thought were manzano, look exactly like these you have, I have a video of them, but haven't finished editing.  they are some kind of variation on what they call "Rulo" around these parts.

We are getting closer Tropicdude. They are NOT thin skin as you mention and manzanos texture is firmer. I remember you tried to ID them in the other thread. when you have a chance post the video.

If they are not manzana then I go with what we call "ice cream" bananas.    I think they are very similar to (if no the same as ) Blue Java.
