Where to buy Royal Poinciana trees in SoCal?

Looking to buy a couple, 1 for me, 1 as a gift for family member. There's a place online that will ship (not bare root) a 3-gallon for about $80, with free shipping. Is that a decent price?

You have to have pretty mild winters for them to flower and flourish. Even down here in San Diego there aren't that many. JF on the forum has a nice one in front of his house, but he is in a mild area of La Habra.

Get some seeds and they will grow quite fast in summer. Need protection in winter for small trees. We have a tree in Santa Ana with trunk over 1 foot OD, from seed of course.

There are dwarf poinciana, but do not know about a dwarf royal. I have a hybrid dwarf, does not create a canopy like the royal.

The seeds of RP that I've seen around here are pretty big, about jelly bean size. They come from large pods that hang from the trees.
