I went to the farm today and saw all the trees small and on trellises. The z4 abius here are over 900g and so is the DPI gold and Alva starapples. There is a large and medium purple starapple type and juicy pearls to 250g.Juicy pearls have small leaves that are green underneath and the 50 seedlings show a lot of variability in size and form.I will post tree and farm shots soon.
Nice harvest collection Mike, good to know the variability on Juicy Pearl, I'm going to  plant more than one in that case!

The 6 smallest fruit at the front are juicy pearls and the trees just pump out the fruit over a prolonged season. A large proportion of the fruit I got were seedless. The DPI gold and alva starapples averaged just one seed per fruit as did the Z4 abius but I have dozens of them to eat yet..

This is the biggest starapple from my batch last week and I'm just ate it.It had the most seeds and the largest seeds and the diameter was around 5 inches.

Yes it is DPI Gold. Some are pinkish, some are yellowish and some are more green. It is the first one I actually measured over 1kg and might be as big as any starapple variety. The average size might be about 600g.The taste was considerably better than the purples and the juicy pearl was even better. I find most purple and green ones have some latex. too many seeds and the flavour is not rich enough.
