Natal Queen Pineapple plant

Wanted to share some of my Natal Queen pineapple plants have flowered i will post photos once I'm able to see the flower better

Yeah it turned out pretty good i just wish the plants didn't take so much cold damage during all the cold weather we had this winter I'm going to be more prepared next winter

Looking good so far, keep us updated. My Zululand Queen is growing at a snails pace.

Update Natal queen is ripe and ready to be picked off the mother plant will post photos of it later cant wait to try it out :)

Before being picked off the mother plant this one didn't get as big but here is a photo I will post the 2nd photo of the bigger one in a few days still needs more time on the plant but the 1st one was 2.3lbs

The taste of the Natal Queen was Awesome really sweet low acid brix was around 18. to me it worth growing and i plan to grow lots more over the years to come.... white sugarloaf from jude is still #1 Natal Queen #2....

The mini one they sell as cocktail mangos are the Zululand Queen. I posted a picture somewhere.

That’s a huge Fruit compared to my cocktail sized Zululand Queen. This sounds like a must have variety for the Pineapple connoisseur. Thanks for the update!
