Anyone else growing this or tried it? I grow mine a few miles from the coast in southern California and it doesn't get too hot and the fruit is real good.

The fruit size looks great! What size is the edible part and which colour is it?
What a pitty they are unlikely to come true from seeds  :'( - i would be interested.

What is the flavor like on this one?  Does it tend to have bitterness like grapefruit?

No bitterness at all on this fruit. Picked at the right time and it is great. There is plenty of fruit, a smaller one than the one shown was the right amount for two people.
