My tree is changing leaves now, have to wait for photo. Not uncommon to show both forms of leaves on this tree, correlation to nitrogen levels and vigor.

What is this?

Getting me a stihl 450 duster / mistblower for the inaccessible spots. What do you think?mist blowers are very efficient!
I have an older mistblower the weight of that tank especially up high is a real backbreaker. I have to ease into mine by backing into it while it is on a table. They do lift leaves up well into a large tree. I see the stihl 450 is 28 pounds without 14 liter tank and water weighs 2 pounds/liter, woops 28+28= 56 pounds! Pretty much the same as my Solo 423 better eat planty of oatmeal for breakfast, it will eat your lunch for you.

I imagine it would wear on anyone for extended use.I would just use it for spots, inaccessible to large equipment.

The main gist of the article I posted is a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is very good but may not be for the reasons you think!.And supplements not so much but the good and bad in plants(toxins vs antioxidants). This is new thinking so...

Jf Okay but it will have to be when someone comes by with their phone.I gave up mine like 5 years ago,I found it to be a pain in @ss so I would leave it shut off 98% of the time. The leaves will show its freak.Found a 1.2lb on the ground this morning. In my area I think sugarlata has more commercial potential(hot humid)lowland.I have seed of these from this winter to plant(squamosa x reticulata var. Sarteneja)

All fruits and vegetables contain some toxins in minute quantities. The new theory of toxins in vegetables and fruit help turn over damaged cells?

Cherilata has no reticulata taste, subacid very pronounced raspberry overtones. Now I have crosses of lisa x tikal that have reticulata overtones and pink mammoth x tikal that had one fruit this winter but died on the stem just before maturity(forced ripe) not to good(not sweet)but I could taste reticulata in it.They had soft flesh, now the Cherilata is very firm fleshed.
I have feeling it is going to like California's climate more than Florida's as it seems the fruit mature  better in the cool weather

Jf  do all cherimoyas look alike?

How large the tree, diameter? You may need to cut back and wait for regrowth and then graft as normal. That is how I did a couple of mine, but the wood I cut back was only around 8 inches diameter.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: COLD HARDY LYCHEES & LONGANS
« on: April 16, 2020, 03:12:52 PM »
Have always heard the opposite and in my experience longans are far more sensitive than lychees. I am in 9B and longans are borderline trees. Mine stayed alive but barely grew while my lychees do really well.

That is true the further down the indochina peninsula the more tropical .

Tony your asking a lot for that cape soil even weeds grass has a hard time (smutgrass ,indian goose grass) kidding aside there was a perennial peanut called waxy leaf that was a deep rhizome that could take bad conditions.
The gem mango wood is growing yeh!

So I,m looking up the Ambika mango and sulcata groves did a review of the Ambika mango but I think they may have had a bad one with physiological disorder ,when ever someone says pumpkin and carrot flavor that's a red flag. The link below contains that review and added bonus of ambika the actress?
