What to do about 2nd bloom on young trees?
« on: April 16, 2021, 10:56:44 PM »
So I'm not letting my two-years-in-ground trees hold fruit. I removed the fruit off of them when they were pea size, but now a couple are starting to bloom again. What's the recommended practice with the second bloom? Repeat the process of removing any fruit when they get to pea size, or is there something else I should do? Thanks!

Yes, you have the right idea. Pull them off when they get pea size. If it blooms again, repeat the process. It is warm enough now that I doubt your trees will bloom a third time. I've had more experience with lychee, but I think the same principle applies.
