tree sap coming from my mango stems?

Hey guys took pics and saw this on a few of my new branches and leaves, the first one if from my Spirit of 76 tree and the other is from my potted carrie? is this normal? if so why is the tree doing this? or is it not sap and something harmful?

I am not sure what may have caused those  :-\...but I do know that is definitely not normal...maybe someone here will know what caused it? Good luck!

i notice that too on some of the trees that was shipped to me .

but i was not certain that it was because of the cut that nurseries made before shipment or some damage while shipping.

could be because of stress... ?

I noticed this on a big tree years ago, for some reason it started dripping sap. ( right onto my car ) which caused permanent stains.

In your 2nd and 3rd pictures, the sap is coming out at points that have been injured,  so it could be the plant "feels" stressed and is over producing sap to heal its wounds.

the ones in pictures are being eaten by something, its just damage.  you can see bite areas in middle picture.

I think your tree was damaged by something. My tree's also loose sap sometimes but out of the main stem. I have no idea if it is harmfull but i noticed many tree's have it.
