Thanks for sharing your knowledge Warren. Hope I can make it!
By the way, will you be bringing some of your favorite mangos so that we too can have a mango tasting feast like the Florida crew? ....lol
Just throwing it out there 🤔🤔🤔🤔
-
I will try to bring CA grown mango fruit, but we experienced big losses on the 7/06 heatwave.
Perhaps other locals can bring some.

Warren
This much anticipated presentation is way overdue. We loss a faithful mango steward in Jim Nietzel this year I hope you can follow in his footsteps.....
-
Awesome
-
Good luck to you Warren. Wish I could attend but I will be overseas. Chris
-
I will ask if Foothill CRFG can post the presentation PDF on-line for those that can't attend.
-
This is awesome esp for ppl who wants to learn how to grow these in Socal.
-
Good going Warren, you have great records for all the different Mango varieties. I’m sure everyone will learn a lot from your presentation.
Simon
-
Any chance Foothill can tape it for the other CRFG chapters. I'd like to go but 400 miles away.
-
Sometimes Fang records the meetings, but I don't know if he posts them anywhere.
-
Still on for tomorrow, Sat August 4.
Besides the presentation....there will be an informal tasting of about 10 different varieties of mango. Social/Tasting probably will start at 9:30am.

Hi Warren
Would love to make it. My parents live up in the foothills of Pasadena and I’ll be seeing them later today, but I’ve got lots of yard work to do today as I’m going on vacation next week. Good luck with the presentation!

Warren,
Thanks for great presentation. Do you know where I can get a copy of the slide you did? I didn't see on foothill website.
I have a voice recording of Warren's presentation. Its missing the first minute or two.
Not sure how to upload, so those who would like a copy pm me and provide your email address. I'll try to email them to you. File is about 22MB. It should be playable with any video/audio player.
Vincent.

The presentation was e-mailed to Foothill CRFG members only.
I know Fang recorded the presentation, but it is not clear where he will post it.

Is admission free for 9/20?
I really am not sure on admission.
Perhaps an OC CRFG member can chime in.
They sent me a website link, but it doesn't say.

After the meeting, we have the best refreshment table and everyone visits and shares.

Just a friendly reminder SoCal mango hobbyists,
Warren's mango presentation is tonight in Santa Ana.
See you all there...!

Thanks for a great presentation today Warren. I never knew there were so many people interested in growing mangos in OC, and you did a marvelous job presenting the topic and teaching the ins and outs of mango growing.

Didn't see you there last night Khaled!
Yes, one of our local mango expert, thanks again Warren!

I had my 4 year old with me so we were sitting in the back. I was trying to make sure the volume was low on her cartoons so that people weren’t disturbed by the sound.
-
Was surprised to see a large crowd. Had a fun time.

Thanks Warren for an awesome presentation which was very informational. That evening I was a bit starstruck from seeing so many familiar faces that I've seen on YouTube (especially the guy from the ''Let's Find Out'' show)...really enjoyed it. Thanks again Warren.
