Improving Mango Fruit set
« on: February 08, 2018, 12:05:19 PM »
I’ve posted this before but thought it would be useful for members to re read this article since many of our Mango trees are now in full bloom.
http://scihub.org/ABJNA/PDF/2010/3/1-3-421-429.pdf
This article is referring specifically to Keitt Mangos but it may help with Fruit retention, Fruit size and Increased Brix for other varieties of Mango as well.

Thank you Simon for the reminder, I found very interesting this paper. I see there are some products in amazon here in Europe that maybe are the equivalent to those that you use in America:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06X1953WZ/ref=twister_B06XKJGYL8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GHTC20S/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0064N1GH8/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?psc=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AB0G2EQ/ref=twister_B01EXAACEQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Are they the same?

Indeed these are most interesting findings. Of particular note is benefits occurred at the top of both application's range. It would be great to repeat this experiment and find the point of diminishing returns.  Indications are stronger applications would likely yield even greater benefits...but only further experimentation would prove how far is too far.

Great find.

I don't see anything online about the "Arabian group for agricultural service", provider of oligo-X algae extract.

another tip:

seawater mix with water 5%:95%  and spray to plant. (Be aware the seawater concentration must below 5%)
It just mineral benefits and antibacterial work.....not kill the bacteria to prohibit the new bacteria acting....
