What rootstock/s are your trees on? How old are they?

Your trees would appreciate it if you removed the grass from around their trunk.   I see you have a Bahia orange. The Bahia orange tree is the variety that was originally imported from Brazil into the USA in 1870 by the USDA. The USDA then sent out out from Washington two of the trees to Mrs. Luther C. Tibbes, of Riverside, California who grew them in her yard.. The trees were among the first to bloom and fruit in the USA.  It is from these two trees, one of which still is living, that the navel orange industry of California and mainly of the world has developed. The variety came to be referred  commonly as the Washington Navel orange, and was distributed under that incorrect name.  Later horticulturists attempted to introduce the correct name, Bahia, but to no avail: the markets had become so familiar with the designation Washington navel that it could not be supplanted.  We would be interested in seeing the rest of your citrus collection.

Hello Millet! Thank's a lot for your comment! Bahia oranges are  very common here. I have two of them. I have 1 Celamondine, 1 tangerine from Setúbal that is an old local variety, 1 valencia orange, 1 Cara cara, 1 Chandler pomelo, 1 Tahiti lime, 1 Vanilla orange of the variety "vaniglia apireno di Ribera", 1 Lisbon lemon, 1 usual grapefruit, 1 grapefruit from Corsega that is very big and sweet, 1 moro orange, 1 sanguinello orange, 1 Clementine Amoa 8, 1 Kumquat and 4 fingerlime (green, red, rose and yellow pulp). This is the list of all my citrus trees. 20 trees total. ;D

Louisport, the Fausterime green finger lime isn't it the one with the double thorn growth.  I used to have a fairly large Fausterine tree some year back.  It is a real pincushion tree, with thorns absolutely everywhere. You have a very nice citrus collection.

Certainly doesn't look like a tangelo. The peel seems to smooth, and the fruit does not have the traditional neck of a tangelo.  Peel a fruit and taste.  Tangelos are VERY juicy and the membranes of each segment are very thin. Because of this, eating a tangelo should make your hands juicy.  Lastly a tangelo, because it is part grapefruit, should have a somewhat sharp taste.  Try a couple fruits and let us know if your fruit matches up to the taste and texture profile.

What do you think it is? A mandarine, tangerine or other?

Hello my friend!  ;D
This was a grafted tree i buyed. She suffer a bit from cold weather two years ago but i think she will go on. I harvest this fruit because i was afraid it was too dry if i take too much time doing it, but i'm prepared to get this first fruit with bad quality. I will let it stand some weeks with apples and see if he will get better.

I got a couple of new Zealand lemonade seedlings past the die-off stage.  The seedling in the bottomless tin can is in a 5 gallon bucket with 20 FD seeds in  the ring of dirt around the can.  The pepper plant shown shares a 5 gallon bucket with beets that won't interfere with the pepper plant.  2 more NZL seedlings to go in bottomless cans to share a 5 gallon bucket with beets.  The bottomless food cans have no perched water table to cause root rot while the beets below drink up any excess water.

hello my friend! Yes i'm just 7Km from the famous Fátima Shrine, but they have a bit more cold and frost than our location. We are protected from winds too... the usual lowest temp is 0C or -1C. On colder winters we got -3C and the lowest on record -6,5C, but this is the lowest ever.

I just got rid of my key limes also.  Bearss/Persian is clearly the way to go.
Thank's! The persian lime i told is in fact a sweet lime. I have one lime but i don't know if it's a bearss or a key but i think it's a bearss.

I wonder why UCR list NZ Lemonade tree with the sweet limes.  The parentage is unknown.  I would think the tree would be listed as a sweet lemon.  I have a producing NZL tree, and can attest the fruit is very nice tasty.

Hello Luis, i would like to ask you how do you protect your more sensitive citrus such as buddha hand citron in the winter? You get quite lower temps than the ones it should tolerate

Hello my friend, how are you? I never got any problem with my citrus trees regarding low temp. The budda's hand lemon is planted on ground with no protection.
The only citrus that suffers with cold temp is the Chandler pomelo, but it recovers well and fruits every year...
