I was planning on purchasing a 15 gallon tree but the seller isn't aware of the species.
Any suggestions?

Identification is difficult among Inga genus. It requires you to have in your possession flowers, leaves with all their morphological structures and know what the fruit looks like.
Here is a link to identification key for Inga
https://www.kew.org/science/tropamerica/neotropikey/families/keys/inga/index.htm
You have to figure out how to get the right plug-in, so you can use the key.
