Any idea what is this brown stain on some of the Alphonso mango fruit? This is the first time I have seen this issue and I did spray it with copper earlier in the year.

« on: April 16, 2013, 04:27:59 PM »
Temps are dropping to 39-40 degrees this friday night in Houston TX. Will this damage mango flowers and fruits? Should they be covered up and protected?

Thanks!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Life of papaya tree
« on: January 04, 2013, 09:09:23 PM »
I was wondering how long do papaya trees generally live. I have tatong papaya in ground in houston area since last 4 years and it is still producing ton of fruit happily. It has been beat up by freezes and has multiple branches now (couple of them collapsed from the weight of the fruit!)

Thanks!
