I have grown a good black and yellow together for while but hacked down the black because it was too vigorous and wasn't quite as good.Yellows are smaller trees alright and blacks do get 10m frequently. Yellow fruit taste better and are usually larger but some blacks are almost as good. Some trees when they cross have some yellow and some black fruit. The most prised variety here are the big fruited orange ones. I presume they are yellow derived and chosen for being a good selection.
