In-line hose filter for an avocado tree
« on: May 29, 2018, 12:09:00 AM »
Hi,

Was wondering whats a good quality water filter hose attachment for using on avocados? My city puts I believe both chlorine and chloramine into the water to kill bacteria from forming also the water is semi-saline.

Thanks

Its very important to filter nasty tap watr so I applaud you looking into filtration. You need a filter without a kdf pellet which is anti-bacterial. Here is the one I use as well as another one that looks very good!

Same with my former city and it never hurt my avocado tree or other fruit trees.  Water was hard too with a high pH.   Saline?  I recommend having your variety on Waldin or some other W. Indies rootstock or collect rainwater.
