Mark, That is the exact fertilizer I use. Fortunately, I can purchase it locally from a greenhouse supplier. - Millet
In the citrus world fertilizer can be grouped in two or three sections of growers. One like Foilage Pro 9-3-6 and others like Peters 25-5-15, and i do not know in actual application. It seams that peters is a tad better. Meyer lemon need more?.I now have about 20 tree's in containers so i have to get serious about the right amounds Since i bought a 25 lbs of peters i have to stay with it for a while.
I mix my fert. in 7 gls containers,is 6 level tbl's too much?
Luak, I believe you got those recommendations from me - the DG and Peters foods. I'm not anal about what I use and will rotate foods. For instance, I wanted a bit more foliage push or support so the other day I hit them with a very high quality turf food made by Plantex - 35-5-10 with micros. Having said that, my go to food is still Peters and I use it on a lot of plants, not just citrus. It's a bargain too. http://www.amazon.com/77900-Performance-Fertilizer-25-5-15-25-Pound/dp/B008JSIKCU/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_1
I also go light on feeding maintaining more of a continuous feed drill at 1 tsp/gal. 2 tsp/gal. is pushing for me and that's with collected rain water as the carrier.
Your trees look great! Regarding your pots, if you aren't using root tip pruning pot systems, you're missing it.
Gotta ask, you're probably in zone 7b, what do you do come winter?
