Seed germination + grape polyembryony

Hello everyone,
I planted on 05/31/20 three seeds of limone di sorrento and one seed from unknown grapefruit. The grapefruit seed came out after like two weeks but lemons do just nothing.
How long should I wait until it's hopeless?
I also planted some unknown orange last week so if you have any info on germination time, it would be awesome.

The second thing I'd like to discuss is the grapefruit seed mentioned above that turned out to be polyembryonic. I plan on using it as a rootstock but I heard that polyembryonic ones grow slower. If I separate them from each other will they grow faster? If yes when and how to separate them.

I've had citrus seeds sprout months after I'd planted them, long after I had given up on them and stopped watering.  If you are curious you could pick a few of the seeds out of the soil and see if they've sprouted.  The roots aren't all that fragile, if it has started to sprout it will probably be fine if you bury it back in the soil again.

Wow, okay that's good to know. So I'll wait and maybe check on them as well.
