For anyone interested I’ll be giving 3 separate talks about Mangos this week in the south Florida area:

Monday, July 9th, at 7:00pm broward Rare Fruit and Vegetable council
Location address: 3245 College Avenue, Davie, Florida 33314
Going to be similar to talk I gave in Homestead in May. Will try to focus on new varieties.

Wednesday, July 11th at 7:00 pm. Miami Rare fruit club
Fairchild botanic garden:
10901 Old Cutler Road Coral Gables, FL 33156
Science village classroom (I think. I had to try to find a reference to where they met)
This talk may focus more on horticultural practices with some discussion of new varieties. Tons of history I’d like to talk about as well but gonna be limited in time.

Friday, July 13th. 7:30pm. palm Beach Rare fruit council
Mounts botanical garden
531 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415

I intend to focus heavily on the 2018 season and the new diseases at this talk as numerous palm beach county residents are having their mangos wiped out by this stuff now.

Went to the Broward Rare Fruit and Vegetable council tonight. It is definitely worth spending the evening listening to someone passionate about mangoes. Make the trip mango lovers you wont be disappointed.
