Hello, I got a chanee durian seed last week and it has started to put out the green stem, should I uncover more of it or let it extend itself? The garage hardly gets below 60 degrees, and it is being supplemented by 5100K LED grow lights before I build my greenhouse.

Thanks, Matt

Let it do its thing. The seed will lift up, then the outer part will fall away and the first leaves will appear. Quite impressive!

You need to keep the humidity up or else the seed will mummify and eventually kill off the growing tip.

Humidity is 70-80 percent in my garage, don't know why, my coffee, vanilla and rollinia grow great there though
