My Lisa is holding fruit snd I am excited. It is 4 years old in the ground. Kinda whispy tree almost shrub like.
Also my jujube is blooming and it is 3 years in the ground.

All in all very happy.

So far my small yard has a Carrie-4years old and wonderful, a coconut  creme -one year old, a NMD one year old and a Pickering one year old. There is room for one more small variety and would like suggestions? Considering Cogshall?

I planted a florida persimmon in the ground with a SE exposure but it is not growing. Tje leaves sll have numerous black spots on them and no new leaves are appearing. It gets water snd fertilizer and has grown little since I planted it from the nursery 3 gallon pot, it is mulchec too with the cheap red mulch from Lowes.

I have a key lime tree that i grew from a seed and now it is in a 20 gallon pot. It loks healthy but thorney and is about 3 feet tall. When should it begin to bloom. It has lots of thorms but no bloom.

At ground level all the green flesh is off and only a brown stem. Abone is normal growth. I wonder if this is a problem?

I am in zone 9b. My avocado trees have large brown spots on them as if burned, the center of the spots are dry and cracking. Spots begin in center of leaf not border edges. What is this ?remedy?

Wanting to plant a sweet variety of carambola. There was a sour one on the property when I bought it but cut it down.i recently tasted a sweet one at a friends house but he did not know the variety.as he started it from seed someone gave him. He claims the tree is only 3 years old, it’s about 7 feet and prolific. I would have place for one carambola but have a sweet tooth. What varieties would be recommended.please?

I live in zone 9b ion the Florida Coast. I have 3 everblooming mulberries and they took a whipping after the hurricanes in October. To get them bearing again should I prune them. Do they fruit from new growth?

I have brown burned looking spots on one of my avocados and looked uhder the leaf and saw some tiny black headed bugs aunning around. Will a spray of horticultural oil kill them? I think they are lace bugs.

I attended a talk last night about sapodilla trees and the lecturer recommended calcium for slow growing saps. I wonder if this might be true for other tropical fruits , my Grumichama is very slow growing and not fruiting after 4 years in the ground. A ready source for calcium is sheet rock.
