Congrats Ed!! I have NO blooms or even the hint of blooms yet...its been a very warm Fall...80's almost every day this last Nov. and Dec. has been very warm so far too  :'( . Maybe I'll get some flowers in Feb.lol...

plenty of potassium.  carefup of the chlorine (muriate of potash is potassium cloride)  wood ashes or potassium sulfate work well.  your tree would love potassium nitrate, but it would likely put on a lot of growth, and not so much bloom.

Talking about Carrie, I grafted a scion onto my unknown stringy sweet mango, and its growth rate is four or more times faster than the new growth of other branches that erupted to use to graft onto. It looks like a fiddler crab right now :-)

Congrats. Its obviously much cooler up in Jacksonville then it is down south where mangoes normally grow. I'm guessing that due to the cool weather the tree was fooled into thinking its further along in the winter so its blooming in preparation for the spring.
