Wish you luck. Perhaps someone in CA will be able to help you out. I love to top work a big healthy tree to several different varities....especially a grapefruit......I dont love a lot of them.

Oroblanco grapefruit would probably be the best thing to graft onto it, and the most compatible.
Either that or any other grapefruit.

In CA, your best bet for "rootstock" for those varieties would be C35...
