50/50 odds for a large order and big $$$ does make your butt pucker. aPersonally I would like the whole lot. The number of seeds etc. could be worked out if I'm not too late. Thank you, Chris

You got it Sam! They will (or should) grow quickly. I just noticed my tree is full of emerging flowers. Good luck. Chris

Spaugh, why plant some Eucalyptus on your borders for wind protection? Most of the Avocado groves east of Irvine have old gum trees planted for just that. It may help to create your own microclimate. Chris

Great topic. I wish I had known about the Corona pruners and loppers back in the day when I purchased mine...I have never been happy with them. Time for a change! Thanks and good luck to all. Chris

You would be shocked to see how beautiful Cal. Tropics Lychee trees are...even IF you don't have an extra 10k in your wallet (that day). I was super impressed. They also have a Jaboticaba grove (In ground) as well! Yes they are overpriced, but still impressive nonetheless. Chris

Bananaizme, I believe they are stocked up on Jack's mid-summer. "Act of futility or death"...Nice! Great line, good comedy (even though it's totally true). Good luck! Chris

Also, I remember Mimosa in Anaheim having 24" boxed Lychees (can't recall if they were sweethearts) that were pretty nice for about $1,000 give or take. Chris

Hey Simon- Cal Rare Fruit Trees in Vista has 12 footers (I believe they said over 20 years old) for $10,000++. Lots of them in fact. I know they are outrageously overpriced but they are beautiful specimens. At minimum, its a nice place to walk around. Chris

I feel your pain Raul! Chris

Hope your fruits ripen Abimael! I have one in the ground that's about 6ft tall and haven't had any fruits after flowering. Chris

I'm a quality over quantity guy myself. Chris

Just leave them alone (and well watered)  in part shade for a couple weeks until they get acclimated and then figure out what size pot you need. It really doesn't matter the species of tree involved. Chris

I wouldn't top the lychee. If it survived the beheading, it would take forever to form a decently shaped tree...let alone fruit. I agree with Cookie. Chris

620
Hey Oscar- do you think these would be graft compatible with our (California) mango rootstocks? Thanks, Chris

I too put mine directly into the dirt (after pulling off most of the base leaves). I never had any luck with the water routine. Chris

They may not be in season now, but I swear I have seen them at Champa at one time or another. Chris
