I have a pair of NS-1 seedling jacks, if you're interested. I'm interested in the juicy peach.

NS-1 seedlings for a grafted Juicy Peach... doesn't sound like a fair trade to me. Have a grafted jackfruit for trade?

Thank you, Harry!  When did the mods become fruit tree brokers, too?

And when did you become jc's advocate. Don't make me ban you and force you to actually work at work.

If you don't end up trading the juicy peach, I'd like to buy it

Sheehan always has my back.  Now I feel badly for shamelessly ridiculing him for posting the donkey video!

Banning me wouldn't be such a big deal.....but making me actually work at work....now that's cruel.

I am interested in both the NS-1 and the TREC white sapote.  What do you have in mind for the deal?

Thanks,
George

JC,

I think I am going to pass on the trade.  Do you have anything else?  Mangos or other jackfruit?

Thanks,
George

I guess that saves me the fuel of making a 120 mile round trip.  I'm out of mango space as it is, I was actually just going to give the juicy peach to my neighbor, a mango collector, that got me interested in mangoes to begin with.  After all, "Tis the season..."  Well obviously not for all... ::)

I guess I can just go with my neighbor on his next trip to Zill's and pay his wholesale cost.  Unfortunately though I'm still looking to give away some healthy NS1 seedlings and a TREC white sapote.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

I'll trade you a seedling black sapote for that grafted white sapote? I may also have a seedling carrot wood that sprouted after I cut another one down. Interested?

I actually really like the NS1. My seedling NS1 tree bore in just over 3 years from seed. I went for the NS1 because the guy at JoSan growers said that it was the one that his customers favored, despite having many of the newer cultivars. It's crunchy, super sweet, and has nicely colored thick-walled carpels.

Nothing wrong with the NS-1 or an NS-1 seedling... it's just the extra risk involved with a jackfruit seedling. I've seen many seedlings from good cultivars turn out to be not good, including even being soft flesh from a firm seedling.
