Around Raleigh NC we're in the teens at night and got up to 33 today for a high. Some of the wind gusts were up to 40 mph which meant covering anything in the ground would be useless. Next Monday and Tuesday is when the real trouble starts, supposed to see single digits at night and daytime highs below freezing. It will be sunny so the greenhouse will be fine during the day. I heat it with an old wood burning stove which puts out a lot of heat but means I get very little sleep. I'm not complaining, getting to spend the afternoons in there gardening in the spring like temps makes up for all the hassle. It just seems funny to hear people down south worry about lows around 50. All my plants have made it through nights with the lows in the high thirties inside the greenhouse (when I've slept through the alarm clock). But I focus my collection on things that are not too delicate.
